Their consultations were essentially a sales pitch comprised of scare tactics to persuade prospective clients into retaining their services for tens of thousands of dollars. One local firm even indicated I would be remanded into custody at my first court date if I *don't* hire them. Bullshit. Some of these people are bigger criminals than the criminals they defend.
